Covering Braceworks functionalities, truss usage, correct connections, hoist placement, house rigging points utilization, load attachment, bridle creation, and weight analysis.
For riggers, manufacturers and (lighting) technicians, who want to use Vectorworks to test the structural feasibility of designs.
Covered in this session:
- What can Braceworks do and what can't it do?
- Using Trusses and how to connect them correctly
- Placing Hoists.
- The use of House Rigging Points
- Attaching loads to trusses and hoists (lighting, audio, scenery)
- Bridles
- Making a weight analysis
To attend this session it is advisable to already be sufficiently at home in Vectorworks Spotlight. Having notion of entertainment rigging terminology is preferred.
This session is taught based on the English-language Vectorworks 2024 + Braceworks.
