ArmoníaPlus 2.0 is here, and this update is a big one

FACE Project Integration
A+ 2.0 makes your installations lighter and your interaction with the system easier with its newly developed physical controls. It doesn't end there, now you can design your control interface straight from within the program and use the same design on any smartphone or tablet through a dedicated app, or from any browser.
Alongside ArmoníaPlus 2.0 comes our series of on-line training sessions, starting Wednesday the 7th of this month with an introduction class that is made available in multiple languages and times to better suit your needs.
Embedded Matrix
Powersoft amplifiers are now capable of managing mono, stereo, and multichannel sources and zones. This allows for a decentralized system processing that eliminates the need for an external matrix in many applications, and can also reduce the number of cable runs, resulting in simpler and more effective installations.
Sources
ArmoníaPlus 2.0 introduces Source Objects. These feature individual EQ and gain and are used to define an audio source that can be dynamically patched to amplifiers and zones. Sources can be fed to the amplifier’s analog, Dante, or AES3 inputs; and can be configured as mono, stereo, and multichannel (up to 64 channels).
Zones
Sources and loudspeakers can be assigned to Zones so that the different parts of the system can be controlled with a touch of a button, or with the turn of a knob. Zones also have their own EQ and gain and can take mixed amplifier output memberships.
Dynamic Routing
Zones can be configured to automatically route signals from any mono, stereo or multi-channel source to the loudspeakers, without the need of any internal or external matrix configuration. When switching from a mono to a stereo source, for example, the signal routing will be automatically distributed according to the user’s configurations.
Dynamic Matrix
Convert any analog or AES3 source into Dante signals and share them over the network straight from the Dante Matrix, which is now natively integrated in ArmoníaPlus.
Dynamic Dante Patching
Patching between amplifiers and Dante sources is only done when needed, allowing the creation of offline sources, and providing a lighter solution for systems that require the selection of Dante sources.
CONTROL
ArmoníaPlus 2.0 introduces a series of solutions aimed at remotely controlling key system functionalities: zone level control, source selection, and system scene selection.
Passive Controls
The WM Level and WM Select can be shared over the network, meaning that a passive wall controller can be connected to one amplifier via GPI and control the parameters of other devices in the same network.
WM LEVEL CONTROLLERS
WM Level controllers can be configured to adjust the level of an amplifier output, as well as of single or multiple zones.
WM SELECT CONTROLLERS
WM Select controllers can be set to work as source selectors for a zone, or configured as scene selectors that allow users to choose from different system configurations with the turn of a knob.
WEBVIEWS
The ‘Views Designer’ makes it possible to create dozens of customizable user interfaces (Views) to control and monitor the functionalities of multiple sources and zones. These can be accessed from any mobile device with a web browser.
SYS CONTROL APP
A dedicated app that allows users to control their system Views and to quickly load their A+ project designs to the amplifiers and external controls. The app configuration is also done in the new ‘Views Designer’.
ADDITIONAL
Multiple Workspaces
Projects, especially install ones, can become quite large. To accommodate for the added complexity, it’s now possible to create multiple linked Workspace windows to de-clutter even the most intricate and extensive project.
Synchronization Modes
Until now, A+ had a single “live” state in which it was always connected to the amplifiers, whereas in the new 2.0 version there are now 2 system statuses:
Synchronization OFF – allows offline editing and configuration of a project without any actual exchange of information with the amplifiers. At this stage, matching with amplifiers discovered in the network remains only virtual and any changes made in A+ will not be sent to the amplifiers.
Synchronization ON – A+ communicates directly with the amplifiers, allowing users to control and monitor their system directly from A+.
Controls & Views Modes
With the introduction of the new controls, WebViews, and App Views, users will have the ability to choose how they control their system:
Stop – external controls and Views are deactivated. System control and design are possible from A+.
Run – the project design is frozen and loaded into the amplifiers and the system control handed over to any passive control, WebView, or App that has been configured as part of the system.
