CITC has delivered a world class portfolio of products, fluids and expendables that create dramatic special effects used in Motion Pictures, TV and Commercials, Theaters, Sporting Events, Theme Parks and Live Music Venues. From humble beginnings, the company has launched a broad range of solutions that exemplify the front line, hands on experience that can only be gained from more than 30 years of supporting performances across the world.    

CITC started operations in 1987 by a veteran special effects industry expert.  Prior to founding the company, he worked on movie sets that produced some of the most memorable effects seen in motion pictures at the time.  

Since then, our team has gained unique expertise, and CITC has consistently led the industry, creating unique and exciting special effects equipment. Our products continue to impress even the most demanding of theatrical designers, show producers, directors, live music event organizers and stage / set designers.  

We have been credited with many industry firsts, including, biodegradable SnoBiz which won the award for Best Atmospheric Effect at the LDI show. We were the first to create a theatrical snow machine that made evaporating snow, the Little Blizzard and Little Blizzard Snow Fluids, and the Maniac light and motion fog machine. CITC was the first to launch Smartfog, the most accurate programmable fog and the award winning AquaMax™ which was the first machine to deliver water based, 100% organic odorless haze.

Each CITC unit is assembled and tested in the USA with a focus on the reliability, durability and quality expected by the tough environments in which they operate. CITC fluids are uniquely formulated and manufactured exclusively in the USA and are thoroughly tested to make sure they are safe for audiences and performers alike.
