Mixing monitors
After a theoretical part, you’ll get to know a lot of tips and tricks how to mix monitors in a hands-on environment. The use and differences as well as the pros and cons between ‘wedges’, ‘side fill’, ‘in ears’ will all be properly explained. This training session makes sure that you, as a sound engineer, will get familiar with various monitor systems as well as the differences to mixing FOH.
This session takes place on May 30, 2017 from 9h30 till 18h.

The admission fee is € 200,00 ex. 21% VAT (€
242,00 incl. VAT).
If you participate in both training sessions
you will receive a 20€ discount.
This discount also applies to whom already
attended one of these training sessions in the past.
Mixing in-ears
In this training session, you will learn how to work with various in-ear systems and receive an overview of the pros and cons of these systems. We will give you some insights how to work with musicians and how to set up all your equipment. Mixing in-ears, next to mixing monitors, needs its own approach and skills.
In a hands-on environment, we will show you how to set up a mix, give you some useful tips and tricks and we will show you how in-ears work together with monitors and how ambiance mics, dynamic processors and effects will help to achieve this. Above all, you’ll get the chance to practice your mixing skills in accompaniment of an expert in the field.
This session takes place on May 31, 2017 from
9h30 till 18h.
If possible, we kindly ask you to bring your
own in-ears or headphones.
