With the release of Firmware v2.8.9 Luminex brings product improvements to the GigaCore platform.

• Due to component tolerances, fan speed on the GigaCore 26i, could be set at a too low level, which stopped some fans from spinning under certain conditions. This release has optimised settings for the fan controller and ensures correct speeds for all fans.
• To keep firmware version numbering consistent on the entire 1G GigaCore range, models other than theGigaCore 26i also now have a v2.8.9 firmware build.We do advise users to upgrade all models and therefore ensuring consistency in FW versions as this will be indicated in the Araneo health check function.
